Let's talk about colour.

Not in a dry, here-comes-a-diagram way. In the way that explains why you walked past a hundred perfectly nice things and stopped dead in front of one particular shade and couldn't explain why.

That moment. That's what we're talking about.

Colour psychology is real. Before you've consciously processed anything your brain has already responded to colour. Emotionally. Physiologically. Completely automatically.

You don't choose to feel calm around green. You don't decide to feel energised by orange. It just happens.

Which is why we built an entire floral studio around colour instead of flowers.

Revolutionary? Maybe. Obvious in hindsight? Absolutely.

The name is part of the colour story

Our palettes aren't named after flowers or seasons or whatever Pantone decided this year.

They're named after feelings. Moments. Cultural references that mean something to the people who get them - and are just beautiful names to everyone else.

Because you're not just buying a colour. You're buying what that colour means to you.

Or - and this is equally valid - you just like it.

PLASTIC FLAMINGO 101 Monochromatic pink

Pink reduces aggression, creates warmth and is scientifically proven to make people feel good. Which explains a lot about us, honestly.

Culturally - in 1957 someone put a plastic flamingo on a lawn and the world called it tacky.

Fifty years later it's on every mood board, album cover and tote bag in existence.

The thing they sneered at became the icon.

Pink has always been like that. Unapologetic. Resilient. Iconic before anyone admitted it.

Choose it because you love pink and you're done pretending you don't.

VILLAIN ERA — 102 Monochromatic green

Green is scientifically the most restful colour for the human eye. Calming. Grounding. Balanced.

Green is also the colour of the Wicked Witch, Maleficent, Ursula, Loki and every cartoon villain who ever rubbed their hands together in a darkened lair.

And here's the thing about villains - they are always the most compelling person in the room.

The most stylish. The most certain of themselves.

You're not the villain. You've just entered your era.

Choose it because every good story needs one. Might as well be you.

DISCOTHÈQUE - 103 Orange, pink, purple

Complementary colours - those sitting opposite each other on the colour wheel - create visual tension and energy. They make a space feel electric.

Orange, pink and purple are also the colours of a room at 1am when the lighting rig is doing its job and nobody wants the night to end.

This palette was born on dance floors that built the culture. The ones that had to exist in the dark because the light outside wasn't always kind.

Dress code was always fabulous. It still is.

Choose it because you want the room to feel alive.

Ordinary was never the brief and this palette never lets you forget it.

POWER PUFF - 104 Blue, pink, green

Blue is calm and trustworthy. Pink is warm and playful. Green is grounded and resilient.

Three completely different energies - together they create something greater than the sum of their parts.

Sound familiar?

Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup. Pink, blue and green. Three girls made of sugar, spice and Chemical X who saved the world before bedtime. Small. Wildly underestimated. Absolutely

devastating when necessary.

Blue says trust me. Pink says I'm warm. Green says I'm grounded.

Together they say - we saved the world before breakfast and we'll do it again.

Choose it because soft is sometimes the boldest choice. And because saving someone's Tuesday deserves flowers that match the energy.

LOVE BOMB - 105 White, pink, red

Red raises the heart rate, commands attention and communicates passion before anything else in the room gets a word in.

White cools it. Pink softens it. Together - dramatic without being aggressive. The overwhelming gesture that somehow still feels considered.

Love bombing is technically defined as flooding someone with unsolicited affection and grand gestures.

We're florists.

It's the business model.

GOLDEN HOUR - 106 White, yellow, orange

Analogous colours - those sitting next to each other on the colour wheel - flow into each other naturally. Nothing jars. Everything belongs.

Yellow is the most luminous colour in the spectrum. Orange warms and energises. White lifts everything around it.

Together they are the colours of late afternoon sun at exactly the right angle. The thirty minutes when everything looks better than it actually is.
